Equitiestracker unit gets SC nod for licence

PETALING JAYA: Equitiestracker Holdings Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, ET Smart Wealth Sdn Bhd (ETSW), has received a fund management licence from the Securities Commission (SC).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Equitiestracker stated the subsidiary had applied for the Capital Markets Services Licence (CMSL) for the regulated activity of fund management in relation to portfolio management last year, and the approval from the SC was received yesterday.

The CMSL would enable EHB to expand its business.
