KUALA LUMPUR: Companies with recent corporate announcements include Fajarbaru Builder, Revenue, Kossan Rubber, N2N Connect, Hibiscus Petroleum and Annum, said Apex Research.

Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd has won a RM310.54 million contract via a tender exercise from WCT Holdings.

Three directors of Revenue Group Bhd have resigned from the board on Friday.

Abrdn plc has emerged as a substantial shareholder of Kossan Rubber Industries Bhd.

N2N Connect Bhd has called off its plan to transfer its listing from the ACE Market to the Main Market.

Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd said a Sarawak-based oil and gas services provider has initiated arbitration proceedings against its indirect wholly owned subsidiary Hibiscus Oil & Gas Malaysia Ltd over a RM36.57 million claim.

Annum Bhd has called off a collaboration agreement in relation to a RM62.25 million subcontract for the Sarawak Water Supply Grid Programme.

Meanwhile, Apex said the FBM KLCI could stage a rebound off the support of 1,450 points.

"Investors will be anticipating Bank Negara Malaysia’s decision on interest rates this week and we are expecting the overnight policy rate to remain at 2.75% with a 25 basis points hike in second half of the year," it said in a note.

The US market rallied on Friday to break a four-week losing streak after decline in Treasury yields.

Similarly, European stocks were higher after a slew of economic data and comments from a US Federal Reserve governor.
