KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks to watch for on Tuesday include Southern Cable Group, 7-Eleven Malaysia, Ancom Nylex, MN Holdings and ECM Libra, said JF Apex Research.

Southern Cable Group Bhd (SCable) has won a RM293.8mil contract to supply power cables to Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) for a one-year period.

7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Bhd is considering selling its pharmacy chain Caring Pharmacy Group Bhd for about RM1.78bil.

Ancom Nylex Bhd's net profit for 4QFY22 climbed more than four times or 330% YoY to a record high of RM31.92mil.

MN Holdings Bhd has secured a contract worth RM26.9mil for an interconnection facility for a large scale solar photovoltaic (LSSPV) plant in Chuping, Perlis.

ECM Libra Group Bhd deputy chairman Datuk Lim Kian Onn had received one 41.91% of acceptances in his mandatory general offer and failed to achieve the 50% threshold.

Meanwhile, JF Apex said the FBM KLCI could remain sideways below the resistance of 1,460 points following the decline on Wall Street.

The US market declined overnight amid quarterly results, oil price climbing above US$100 per barrel and homebuilder sentiment falling to its lowest since the pandemic.

Meanwhile, European stocks advanced to extend its rebound and ride on Asian markets' momentum.
