KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks that could see increased investor attention on Tuesday include Atrium REIT, TH Plantations, Minetech Resources, MMIS, G Capital, Harn Len Corp, Industronics, MGRC and Westports, said JF Apex Ressearch.

Atrium REIT has proposed to raise up to RM85.3mil via a private placement and a special issuance of units to major unitholder Chan Kam Tuck at an indicative issue price of RM1.40 per unit.

TH Plantations Bhd has issued sukuk wakalah amounting to RM300mil in nominal value.

Minetech Resources Bhd said the RM30.4mil subcontract to build a secondary school in Perak has been mutually terminated.

MMIS Bhd is purchasing a piece of industrial land measuring 40,054 square metres with buildings in Pusing, Perak, for RM11.5mil for expansion.

G Capital Bhd has bagged a Letter of Award (LoA) worth RM7.05mil for a non-revenue water (NRW) project in Pulau Langkawi.

Harn Len Corporation Bhd is buying a piece of agricultural land in Johor Bahru for RM4.5mil to increase its land bank.

Industronics Bhd proposed a two-for-one rights issue at an indicative price of eight sen per share to raise up to RM70mil.

Malaysian Genomics Resource Centre Bhd has proposed to raise RM9.88mil via a private placement, Westports Holdings BThd said it has overprovided for deferred tax liabilities by RM17mil in 1QFY22 and will be reversed in the financial results for 2QFY22.

Meanwhile, JF Apex expects the FBM KLCI coud come under pressure with support at 1,400 points following the bearish performance on Wall Street.

The US market plunged overnight as investors became cautious of tomorrow's inflation data and this week's upcoming earnings season.

Similarly, European stocks declined after being led by automotive counters as the UK Prime Minister resigned.
