M&G Q1 net loss widens


M&G said in a statement that the decline was in line with the lower operating level in the current quarter, as the oil and gas industry remained weak due to shrinking demand as the Covid-19 pandemic continued.

PETALING JAYA: Marine & General Bhd’s (M&G) saw its net loss for its first quarter ended July 31, 2021 widen to RM17.18mil from RM14.97mil in the same quarter a year ago.

Revenue also fell to RM44.66mil from RM55.29mil a year ago.
