ARB earnings boosted by negative goodwill


The information technology software and platform provider said the sharp improvement in its Q2’21 net profit was mainly attributable to the negative goodwill of RM12.7mil.

PETALING JAYA: Negative goodwill lifted ARB Bhd’s net profit to RM16.3mil for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021 (Q2’21), almost double from RM8.5mil in the corresponding period last year.

The information technology software and platform provider said the sharp improvement in its Q2’21 net profit was mainly attributable to the negative goodwill of RM12.7mil.
