SBS Transit gets rail reliability incentive


Commuters disembarking at the Sengkang LRT station on 18 January 2013. SBS Transit has put up signs in English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil to help people navigate more easily. The signs also light up in yellow or red to indicate which way the train is going.

SINGAPORE: Transport operator SBS Transit (SBST) has been awarded an estimated S$30mil (US$22.29mil or RM92.3mil) for rail reliability last year – the first award of its kind.

In its latest annual report, the ComfortDelGro subsidiary mentioned that it had received a “rail reliability incentive”.
