RGT profit jumps on increased demand from overseas

The RGT group also pointed out the softer US dollar dampened 2QFY21 revenue by 3%, as RGT exports all its hygiene care products.

PETALING JAYA: Hygiene care products manufacturer RGT Bhd posted record results for its second quarter ended Dec 31,2020 (2QFY21) due to a surge in overseas demand for its products such as sanitiser and soap dispensers, as a result of a Covid-19 pandemic.

For 2QFY21, net profit jumped 304% year-on-year (y-o-y) to RM4.1mil while revenue was 165% higher to RM45.4mil.
