Allianz’s premiums to grow with agency sales up

With higher earnings forecast in FY20, the research house is raising Allianz’s FY20 dividend per share (DPS) to 61 sen from 57 sen, maintaining a similar payout of 23% as in FY19.

PETALING JAYA: As agency sales gain momentum, Allianz Malaysia Bhd is likely to see a resumption in the growth of overall gross written premiums (GWP) and annualised new premiums (ANP) in the second half of this year.

However, Maybank IB Research expects some normalisation in claims for both the general and life insurance businesses during the period.
