KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia and key Asian markets started Friday on a firmer note after Wall Street closed higher on jobs gains despite the spike in Covid-19 coronavirus cases.
At 9.16am, the FBM KLCI was up 5.88 points or 0.38% to 1,542.16. Turnover was 723.08 million shares valued at 304.93mil. There were 291 gainers, 188 losers and 311 counters unchanged.
