Bursa climbs on gloves, Petronas Gas and HL Bank’s gains


KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia chalked up gains in early Thursday trade, underpinned by buying of glove makers, Petronas Gas and also Hong Leong Bank but cautious Asian markets could prompt some profit taking later.

At 9.07am, the KLCI was up 6.8 points or 0.43% to 1,582.07. Turnover was 866.86 million shares valued at RM283.97mil. There were 314 gainers, 133 losers and 274 counters unchanged.
