Vitrox posts lower Q1 profit

“With a diversified business model, serving multiple industries and presence in more than 30 countries, the group has not experienced significant downward impact so far, ” said Vitrox.

PETALING JAYA: Vitrox Corp Bhd’s net profit was down 10.8% to RM21.07mil on the back of a 1.5% jump in revenue to RM90.29mil in its first quarter ended March 31.

The lower profit was due to an unfavorable sales mix, while, the rise in revenue was due to increase in sales volume from machine vision system (MVS) outweigh the decline in revenue from its automated board inspection (ABI).
