Shangri-La reclassifies final dividend

“The reclassification of dividends would be expedient to shareholders as it provides certainty of the dividend payment date, since the reclassified second Interim Single-tier Dividend does not require shareholders’ approval, ” SHMB told Bursa in a stock filing.

PETALING JAYA: Shangri-La Hotels (M) Bhd (SHMB) is reclassifying its proposed final dividend to a second interim single-tier dividend for its year ended Dec 31,2019 (FY19).

Accordingly, this second interim dividend will be paid on July 16 to shareholders whose names appear on the record of depositors at the close of business on June 18.
