Two directors to leave Pharmaniaga

Independent director Izzat Othman will be leaving Pharmaniaga on July 31.


KUALA LUMPUR: Pharmaniaga Bhd  announced on Friday its independent  director Izzat Othman and non-independent director Fahmy Ismail will be leaving the group with effect from July 31.

It said Izzat, 57, joined the board on March 25, 2011 while Fahmy joined on Jan 1 this year.

According to filings with Bursa Malaysia, Izzat is a lawyer by profession. He was formerly a director of Affin Securities Sdn Bhd and BH Insurance Bhd. 

He has vast experience relating to litigation, conveyancing and corporate matters.

Izzat is a partner in Messrs. Azzat & Izzat Advocates & Solicitors and currently is a practising lawyer with more than 33 years of experience.
