As the value of the company is tied to the performance of the company, it is in the interest of the warring shareholders to argue and fight outside the company.

PETALING JAYA: Talk is rife that prominent businessman Tan Sri Wan Azmi Wan Hamzah and Datuk Mohd Zakhir Siddiqy Sidek are buying into debt-laden Scomi Group Bhd.

Sources said Wan Azmi and Mohd Zakhir are giving a commitment of RM40mil to Scomi Group, which will see the duo holding a significant stake in the group, close to IJM Corp Bhd’s ownership.
