Seacera seeking legal advice on Duta Skyline’s letter


Seacera Group Bhd, which has become a Practice Note 17 company, saw 22.91 million of its shares crossed in an off-market deal on Monday.

PETALING JAYA: Practice Note 17 (PN17) company Seacera Group Bhd is seeking legal advice following a tax declaration that was made by the company’s unit, Duta Skyline Sdn Bhd, without prior board approval.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Seacera said the Inland Revenue Board had accepted the declaration made by Duta Skyline to settle overdue tax by July 1 for the years of assessment of 2009 and 2012 totalling RM22.18mil.
