Destini appoints new deputy CEO, COO

Companies that provide short-term consumer loans at high interest rates are on the increase in countries like Indonesia and the Philippines as many people struggle to get advances through traditional channels such as banks.

KUALA LUMPUR: Destini Bhd has appointed Norzilah Mohammed, the former head of Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Bhd (Exim Bank), as its deputy chief executive officer (CEO).

Norzilah was the president and CEO of Exim Bank from 2016 to 2019.
