KUALA LUMPUR: Pantech Group Holdings Bhd - a maker of pipes, valves and fittings often used in the oil and gas industry - is cautiously optimistic about its prospect as the price of crude oil climbed above US$70 a barrel.
The company posted a net profit of RM10.87mil in the second quarter ended Aug 31 compared with RM11.75mil made a year earlier. Revenue decreased to RM148mil compared with RM157mil previously.
