Two substantial shareholders emerge in Handal


In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Handal said that the contract entails the provision of maintenance and repair services and provision of manpower services for 19 cranes located offshore Peninsular Malaysia

Something is brewing in loss-making Handal Resources Bhd. The company, which is in the oil and gas (O&G) sector, has been gaining traction since April this year amid the recovery in global crude oil prices.

Over the past two months, Handal’s share price has shot up by more than 86% to hit an all-time high of 46.5 sen a share.
