Trading ideas: KKB, Sumatec, KPS, Tenaga

KUALA LUMPUR: KKB Engineering, Sumatec, Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor (KPS) and Tenaga Nasional are among the stocks to watch on Monday, says JF Apex Research.

It said on KKB Engineering secured an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) of wellhead platforms contract from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd.

As for Sumatec, has won the right to build a condensate extractions plant for the Rakushechnoye oil and gas field in Kazakhstan.

JF Apex Research said KPS proposed to undertake a one-for-13 bonus issue to reward shareholders and to improve the counter's trading liquidity.

Tenaga signed a 21-year large-scale solar (LSS) photovoltaic power purchase agreement with Redsol Sdn Bhd under a bidding exercise organised by the Energy Commission.

Last Friday at Bursa Malaysia, the FBM KLCI closed up 7.11 points to 1,863.46.

Following the positive momentum last week, the KLCI is expected to be buoyed and attempt to retest its resistance of 1,880, it said.
