EPF substantial shareholder in Eco World Development


Total sales from Malaysian projects for the financial year exceeded RM3.1bil with more than RM2.2bil achieved in the second half of the year.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has emerged as a substantial shareholder in Eco World Development Group Bhd with a 5.012% stake.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Tuesday, the property company announced that the EPF had bought 374,600 shares on Feb 14.

The purchase saw its shareholding cross the 5% stake when it held a total of 147.584  million shares.

Eco World Development share price closed at RM1.36 on that day.
