Ringgit has plenty of room to go higher in 2018

PETALING JAYA: As an undervalued currency, there is still plenty of room for the ringgit to improve in 2018, supported by factors including an improving fiscal position and an extremely low default.

AmBank Research said its fundamental analysis showed a fair value of 3.95 against the US dollar while the real effective exchange rate presented a fair value of 3.76.
