KUALA LUMPUR: Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) and Trimex Industries Pte Ltd have terminated their memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore the possibility of collaborating to supply and distribute FGV’s palm oil to India.

The termination of the MoU would not have any financial impact on FGV and its subsidiaries, the agri-business group told Bursa Malaysia.

It did not give any reason for the termination.

FGV has presence in 11 countries (via plants and trading offices), but based on FGV's annual report, India - one of its top markets - is not among them.

FGV inked the MoU with Trimex in April this year, and the MOU was to remain valid for six months or any extended period as agreed in writing by the parties.
