KUALA LUMPUR: Vizione Holdings Bhd
has clinched a RM401mil contract to build four blocks of office suites in Bandar Sunway Semenyih, Selangor.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction and property development group said its wholly-owned subsidiary Wira Syukur (M) Sdn Bhd accepted a letter of award on Monday from Paragon Hemisphere Sdn Bhd for the project.
The project has two phases. Phase 1 involves constructing two blocks (40 storeys and 34 storeys), consisting of an eight-storey podium, while Phase 2 involves building the other two blocks (42 storeys and 36 storeys), also consisting of an eight- storey podium.
Vizione said the job would be completed within three years from the dates of site possession for Phase 1 (Oct 30, 2017) and for the Phase 2 (May 1, 2018).
The company said the contract represented an expansion of its current customer base.
“It further enlarges the group’s order book and is expected to provide a steady stream of revenue for the group over the next four financial years ending 2018 to 2021,” it said.
The latest contract’s value exceeds the group’s revenue of RM49.1mil for the financial year ended May 31, 2017 (FY17). Vizione’s pre-tax profit was RM2.12mil in FY17.
Vizione’s order book also got a significant boost earlier this month when Wira Syukur secured a RM465mil contract from Hektar Aneka Sdn Bhd to build five blocks of Rumah Mampu Milik Wilayah Persekutuan and 14 shoplots in Setapak.
Vizione completed the acquisition of Wira Syukur for RM280mil also earlier this month, satisfied in cash and Vizione shares. The vendors included Vizione managing director Datuk Ng Aun Hooi, who was Wira Syukur’s controlling shareholder with 51% equity interest.
