KUALA LUMPUR: Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd
has secured a total of seven contracts with a combined estimated value of RM206mil.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Serba Dinamik said its subsidiary, Serba Dinamik Sdn Bhd (SDSB) had secured a total of three new operations and maintenance (O&M) contracts and four new engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contracts worth RM206mil.
The contract period for the seven new contracts ranges from a minimum of six months to 10 years.
Serba Dinamik noted that O&M contracts usually did not have a specified contract value by nature and the company derived the value based on its internal estimation of the historical records for similar type of projects or contracts.
In a status update, Serba Dinamik said its wholly owned subsidiary, Top Luxury Sdn Bhd has been awarded to undertake the construction work for the Pengerang eco-Industrial Park which would include amongst others, the establishment of Malaysia’s first maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) Global Centre of Excellence that will be operated by SDSB.
“It is expected that the construction work will take approximately two years to complete with a contract value of approximately RM400mil,” it added.
Meanwhile, SDSB would also embark on the construction work of its new MRO and IRM centre on Plot P20, Kidurong Industrial Area Phase II, Tanjung Kidurong, Bintulu, Sarawak.
“As stated in our prospectus dated Dec 30, 2016, as part of our group’s future plans, the new MRO and IRM centre will be used as a platform to expand the group’s business operations in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan.
“SDSB expects the construction work will take approximately two years to complete at a value of approximately RM200mil,” Serba Dinamik said.
