KUALA LUMPUR: AWC Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary Ambang Wira Sdn Bhd has won a RM24.38mil contract from the Public Works Department (PWD) to manage the facilities at the Palace of Justice in Putrajaya for five years.

The Palace of Justice houses the Malaysian Court of Appeal and Federal Court.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, AWC said, the contract would be effective from Oct 1, 2017, up to Sept 30, 2022.

“The contract extends the group’s involvement in the commercial and healthcare segments.

“This is in addition to the group’s maintenance works under the concession from the federal government for Johor, Melaka, Negri Sembilan and Sarawak for a 10-year period from Jan 1, 2016 to Dec 31, 2025,” it said. - Bernama
