Bina Puri wins RM35.5m roadworks contract


KUALA LUMPUR: Bina Puri Holdings Bhd has secured a RM35.5mil contract to undertake the pavement works and temporary road diversion from Aktif Unggul Sdn Bhd, 

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Bina Puri said its subsidiary, Sungai Long Industries Sdn Bhd has accepted the letter of award from Aktif Unggul on Aug 1 to undertake the pavement works and temporary road diversion in Kuala Selangor. 

The works under the contract are expected to be completed within 31 months from the commencement date on Dec 16, 2017.

“With the latest award mentioned above, the group’s unbuilt book order stands at RM1.5bil as at to date.

“The said project is expected to contribute positively to the net assets and earnings of Bina Puri Group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2018,” Bina Puri said.
