Affin expects stronger loans growth in second half


KUALA LUMPUR: Affin Holdings Bhd is expecting loans growth in the second half to come in stronger compared to the first half from January to June 2017.

The bank's managing director and chief executive officer Kamarul Ariffin Mohd Jamil (pic) said that it had grown loans by some 2.5% in the first half and is anticipating full year growth to be at least 6%.

Kamarul Ariffin Mohd Jamil: "We are quite comfortable to achieve a growth of between 6% and 7% as growth in the second half will be stronger.
