KUALA LUMPUR: JAKS Resources Bhd
's wholly-owned subsidiary, Premier Place Property Sdn Bhd, will dispose of four parcels of freehold land totalling 5.988ha in Selangor for RM167.59mil to Sunway Holdings Sdn Bhd's unit, Sunway Supply Chain Enterprise Sdn Bhd (SSCE).
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Jaks Resources said the disposal would enable the group to unlock capital resources from being tied up as long-term assets and to realise the value of the land at a fair market value while enhancing the group's liquidity and financial position. — Bernama
