PETALING JAYA: The contributions of Malaysia’s digital economy to the gross domestic product (GDP) are expected to exceed the 20% target by 2020 from the current 17%.
Communications and Multimedia Deputy Minister, Datuk Jailani Johari, said he is confident the target could be achieved earlier than 2020, as Malaysia had started making waves in the digital economy.
