AmMetLife Takaful appoints new CEO


KUALA LUMPUR: AmMetLife Takaful Bhd has received regulatory approval from Bank Negara Malaysia for the appointment of Noor Azam Mohd Yusof as chief executive officer, effective July 1.

In a statement, it said Noor Azam, who has 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry, would be responsible in driving the growth of the AmMetLife Takaful business in Malaysia.

“We are delighted to welcome Noor Azam to AmMetLife Takaful and are confident that his extensive experience in the industry will help us enhance our value proposition as a modern takaful operator in Malaysia,” said AMMB Holdings Bhd group chief executive officer Datuk Sulaiman Mohd Tahir.
