KUALA LUMPUR: Crowdfunding initiatives should be expanded beyond the technology sector, with small businesses in the tourism and retail industries identified as among potential beneficiaries, according to a trade body.
“These are the industries that have been earmarked as an easier point of entry, so hopefully, it could spur other industries to adapt a more dynamic culture,” Kuala Lumpur Malay Chamber of Commerce president Don Nazwim Don Najib said.
