Former Mavcap CEO to helm Federation of Investment Managers

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Norazharuddin Abu Talib (pic) has been appointed the Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FIMM) chief executive officer effective Monday.

FIMM said in a statement that prior to his appointment, he was the managing director of Astra Partners Sdn Bhd.

Besides his financial industry experience with Citibank NA, he also has over 16 years of private equity investment experience, including with South East Asia Development Corp Bhd, Walden International Investment Group, Commonwealth Development Corp, PDX.com Sdn Bhd, and Malaysia Venture Capital Management
Bhd.

In September 2007, he set up Trupartners Sdn Bhd to provide venture capital and private equity management services.
