KUALA LUMPUR: Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd’s (FGV) suspended president and chief executive officer Datuk Zakaria Arshad has submitted his reply to a show-cause letter before noon Thursday.

The reply letter was submitted on his behalf by his brother, Maulud Arshad to FGV’s company secretary, Koo Shuang Yen at 11.30 am.

The reply relates to the show-cause letter on the long outstanding debt of Safitex Trading LLC with Delima Oil Products Sdn Bhd.

Last week, FGV granted Zakaria an extension until 12pm on June 29 to submit the explanation to the show-cause letter. The second and final extension came after the group received another letter from Zakaria requesting for a second extension of time.
