DID you hear the one about the peacock in Los Angeles? You might say it’s a beautiful tail.

In truth, it’s a bit grimmer than that. Last week, a female peacock strutted into a liquor store in the city and in its desperation to escape, destroyed over US$500 worth of wine in the process.
