KUALA LUMPUR: JF Apex Research expects Damansara Realty, Ahmad Zaki Resources Bhd (AZRB), DRB-Hicom and Karex to be among the stocks to watch on Wednesday after their corporate announcements and results.

Damansara Realty's external auditor has issued a statement over a material uncertainty in the financial statements of the group that may cast significant doubt on the company's ability to continue as a going concern.

JF Apex Research said AZRB, DRB-Hicom, CAB Cakaran, Wah Seong, MyEG, Power Root, Fajarbaru, OCK, CB Industrial achieved better on-year quarterly financial results.

Barakah, Panasonic, Karex, Malton, MKH, Yee Lee, Mudajaya posted weaker on-year quarterly financial results.

Overnight on Wall Street, US markets declined overnight amid rise in tech counters as investors digested a slew of economic data such as consumer, income and inflation data. Earlier, European stocks ended lower following concerns of a snap election in Italy.

At Bursa, the FBM KLCI closed up was flat just 0.45 of a point to 1,765.34.

“Following the lacklustre performance in the US and Europe, the KLCI is expected to remain negative and trend towards its support of 1,755,” it said.
