Sime Darby Plantation wins Edison Award


MIDF Research said Sime Darby registered the highest net money inflow of RM25.37mil last week

KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Plantation has been recognised as Malaysia’s first company to receive the Edison Award for its genome initiative to develop oil palms with higher yields, hence reducing the need for more land.

The world’s largest producer of certified sustainable palm oil won the Bronze award in the sustainability, under the energy and sustainability category of the 2017 Edison Awards in recognition of its achievement.
