HONG KONG: The white knight of Hong Kong broadcaster i-Cable has revealed that it might lay off up to 200 employees as part of a rescue plan designed to save the ailing TV station HK$200 million in a one-off cost cutting exercise.
“Inevitably we may have to reduce the company’s headcount by up to 10%,”said David Chiu Tek-cheung during a press briefing yesterday.
