SUBANG: Sime Darby Auto Performance Sdn Bhd (SDAP), importer of Porsche vehicles and parts in Malaysia, on Thursday unveiled the second-generation Porsche Panamera.

Its chief executive officer, Arnt Bayer, said the new car combined two distinct characteristics -- genuine sports car performance and the luxury saloon comfort.

“It is priced at RM890,000, while its 4S variant costs RM1.1mil.

“The Panamera has become a respected and sought-after member of the Porsche family and this new car is setting new benchmarks in both functionality and design,” he told reporters at the launch in Subang.

Bayer said the cars sold via SDAP came with a four-year warranty and free maintenance package which included complimentary service, parts and labour.

SDAP, set up in 2010, also provides after-sales service for Porsche vehicles in Malaysia. - Bernama
