Boustead formalises RM1.17bil contract

PETALING JAYA: Boustead Heavy Industries Corp Bhd (BHIC), a subsidiary of Boustead Holdings Bhd, has formalised the RM1.17bil contract to build four littoral mission ships for the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) in collaboration with a Chinese shipyard.

The company said in a stock exchange filing that the contract was signed yesterday with the government, and that there were no differences between the substance of the formal contract and the letter of award given out earlier in the week.
