KUALA LUMPUR: Alam Maritim Resources Bhd
has landed a RM99mil contract to provide subsea inspection, maintenance and repair services to an independent oil and gas exploration and production company.
The company, which provides offshore support vessels and offshore construction services, told Bursa Malaysia that the contract given to its unit Alam Maritim (M) Sdn Bhd was for the primary period of two years with an extension option of one year.
Alam Maritim did not name the contract giver.
“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net tangible assets of Alam for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2017, and beyond,” it said.
