Proton tie-up with foreign partner will benefit industry players: Miti

The ministry said the selection of a strategic partner is an important factor in the company

KUALA LUMPUR: Proton’s strategic partnership with a foreign partner will benefit local automotive industry players, says the International Trade and Industry Ministry (Miti).

Apart from platform sharing, both parties would also share resources to develop new products, it said.
