Bursa Malaysia expected to trade firmer next week


Affin Hwang Investment Bank Vice President/Head of Retail Research Datuk Dr Nazri Khan Adam Khan said the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) would remain buoyant and touch 1,730.

KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia is expected to trade firmer next week, boosted by an increase in investor confidence following the better-than-expected gross domestic product (GDP) data for Malaysia released on Thursday.

The ACE Market increased to 2.16 billion shares worth RM450.25 million from 1.84 billion shares worth RM377.56 million. -- BERNAMA
