Affin Holdings to transfer listing status to banking unit


Affin said in a stock exchange filing that both parties were not able to finalise the transaction documents for the sale of the stake in time and in accordance with the central bank

PETALING JAYA: Affin Holdings Bhd (AHB) is transferring its listing status to wholly owned unit Affin Bank Bhd in a share-swap deal, joining other financial institutions in reorganising their corporate structures.

The deal entails the exchange of AHB shares with the shares of Affin Bank on a one-to-one basis, the company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday.
