Multi-Usage extends director’s suspension by two months

Moody's outlook on the Korean banking system has been negative since May 2016.

KUALA LUMPUR: Multi-Usage Holdings Bhd has decided to extend the suspension of non-executive director Tan Chew Hua for two more months -- until March 28.

The property developer told Bursa Malaysia that the board of directors needed more time to form an independent committee to carry out the investigation.

The group had in November last year suspended two directors, including Tan, for two months.

MUH had said that Tan was suspended to “investigate into the matters highlighted in the qualified auditors’ report and the special audit report.”

“The board authorised the Nomination Committee to lead the investigation into the above matters,” the company had said then.
