KUALA LUMPUR: Yinson, Uzma, Dancomech and Nakamichi are among the stocks to watch on Monday following their corporate announcements.
Yinson’s unit is in talks with Talisman Vietnam 07/03 B.V. (TLV) to supply a vessel for the Ca Rong Do field development in Block 07/03 in the Eastern Sea Offshore Vietnam.
JF Apex Research said Uzma has embarked on a joint venture with a China-incorporated company for the engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commission of non-metallic pipes in Malaysia.
As for Dancomech, the group has proposed the subdivision of every one of its 40 sen shares into two 20 sen shares, to be followed with an issue of free warrants.
Nakamichi has proposed to venture into the upstream oil and gas (O&G) industry as part of its regularisation plan to exit its Practice Note 17 (PN17) status.
Last Friday, US markets snapped a five-day losing streak but closed off intra-day highs after President Trump's protectionist speech.
European stocks ended mixed ahead of Trump's inauguration ceremony.
At Bursa Malaysia, the FBM KLCI shed 1.62 points to end at 1,664.89.
“Following the mixed performance in the US and Europe, the FBM KLCI could continue to hover sideways below the resistance of 1,680,” it said.
