BEIJING: Foreign direct investment (FDI) to China increased 4.1% on the year to 813.22 billion yuan (RM525.9bil) in 2016, the country’s commerce ministry said on Friday.
FDI to China in December rose 5.7% on the year to 81.42 billion yuan, the Ministry of Commerce said in a statement on its website.
FDI in services increased 8.3% in 2016 and made up 70.3% of all FDI, it added. - Reuters
