IILM appoints Abdoul Aziz as acting CEO


KUALA LUMPUR: The governing board for the International Islamic Liquidity Management Corp (IILM) has appointed Abdoul Aziz Ba as its acting chief executive officer effective Jan 1, 2017.

Abdoul Aziz has been a key member of the IILM executive and leadership team since 2011 and served as executive director for business operations.

He was part of the leadership team that spearheaded the inaugural launch of the IILM sukuk issuance programme in 2013, said a statement on Thursday.

Abdoul Aziz has 20 years of experience in investment banking from renowned global financial institutions and had accumulated extensive experience in structured finance, securitisation, debt capital markets and Islamic finance. - Bernama
