Sumatec down on loan termination


PETALING JAYA: Sumatec Resources Bhd share price fell by 10.53% or one sen to 8.5 sen yesterday following the termination of three collateralised loans totalling RM72.3mil by creditors on Monday.

The debt was being called by Malaysian Trustees Bhd (MTD), trustees to the three lenders of the loans, namely Kerisma Bhd, Capone Bhd and Prima Uno Bhd, and to be paid within 14 days from the date of the termination and demand notice on Jan 5.
