MRCB-Quill REIT to raise RM488mil

KUALA LUMPUR: MRCB-Quill REIT is expected to raise RM487.942mil in gross proceeds from the proposed placement of 406.619 million new shares at RM1.20 a unit.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, MRCB-Quill REIT said the proposed placement would be allocated to selected investors including Malaysian Resources Corporation Bhd (MRCB) and the Employees Provident Fund. The proceeds would partly fund the company’s acquisition of Menara Shell, a commercial development consisting of a 33-storey office tower with a five-storey podium and a four-storey basement car park in Kuala Lumpur Sentral. – Bernama
